Hominis : works and creations of Paolo Zingone, of A.Foti (3/3)
The simple becoming and the assimilation of experiences are not conceived anymore by the artist as mere possibilities or probable chances.
Our everyday life must contemplate, as a true state of necessity, the continuous search of ones own ideal dimension and the most complete assimilation of experience, a way of being that is lived by the artist as his instrument by choice for his own personal and social growth.
It's impossible not to see in those faces, although with Zingone's personal touches, the characters of the 'Il fu Mattia Pascal', of 'Uno, nessuno e centomila', of 'dell'Uomo col fiore in bocca', of 'Sei personaggi in cerca d'autore' only to quote some of the most famous works of the great Sicilian writer (Pirandello), nobel prize winner for literature in 1936.
Such dynamism is reflected in paintings., portraits, in the indefinite shapes and subjects that express not only in their chromatic view but also in their prospective view how much the colour, with all its particular shades, is the absolute and authentic protagonist of the graphic art.
For this reason the chromatic aspect of Zingone's works enriches itself constantly with new colours and strong contrasts that are able to convey with all their typical sensations of cold and warm, of brightness and darkness, of lightness and transparency, of fullness and dullness, all the emotions, the expressive charge, the enthusiasm, the uncertainties and the deep life experiences lived by the artist Paolo Zingone whose genius and artistic inspiration will never stop surprising us.
